Licensure
The University of Arkansas offers programs that lead to licensure in a variety of grade levels and subject areas. Regulations governing the licensure of teachers in Arkansas are issued by the Arkansas Board of Education. Licensure rules and regulations are always subject to change due to current legislative or state departmental actions.
The information below applies to candidates in all teacher education programs. Information about the licensure process and various topics pertaining to licensure will be distributed via a series of emails throughout the student teaching semester or academic year.
